“Hold Qi with your hands and fill your body with it” is the first Gong (exercise). It is the basic Gong used to treat diseases and strengthen the body. The method can be described as follows:

The mind mixes with Qi. The use of mind attracts (induces) Qi – the mind concentrates on the destination of energy, not on the path it travels. By coordinating the opening and closing movements and the intention of the mind to activate the function of releasing (releasing) the inner Qi outside (opening) and absorbing the outer Qi inside, a connection is created between man and the natural Hun Yuan Qi. “Hold Qi with your hands and fill the body with it” sharpens the sensitivity of the body. Exercise belongs to the external and dynamic external level of Hun Yuan Qi in Zhineng Qigong. It is an effective and effective method of collecting and concentrating Qi. By cultivating it, you can quickly learn to use external Qi to treat diseases.

This exercise is the essence of the Zhineng Qigong tradition

Brief description of the method, lift the Qi up and fill the body with it.

The name of the first dynamic Gong in the Zhineng Qigong tradition is: “Hold Qi with your hands and fill the body with it.” The exercise is based on the essence of this tradition. “Hold Qi with your hands and fill your body with it” (Pěng qì 捧 氣), means raising your hands up the natural Hunyuan Qi. Fill Qi (Guàn dǐng 貫 頂) means filling the body with energy held above the head and penetrating the whole body. It is important that the word “Guàn 貫” is used in the Chinese description, and not “Guàn 灌”, because there is a slight difference between them. “Guàn 灌” means filling between stones (solids or something solid), while “Guàn 貫” means penetrating into a solid, stone. This means the penetration of all solids, not just the human body. So it’s not only the name of the exercise, but also the essence of the first Gong.

There are many moves in this exercise, and in fact two are the most important: La Qi (collecting Qi) and Guan Qi (filling and penetration). La Qi is preparation for Guan Qi. This, in turn, belongs to the traditional Qigong “Cǎi qi” (energy storage area).

The recording of the energetic voice of Pang Ming guides us through the whole exercise. Translated and interpreted into Polish. The interpretation of this exercise is only my version. Many people may disagree with her. I did as I could, based on English texts and the help of Chinese friends. The recording instructs what the intention of our mind should be at various stages of the exercise. It is important that the mind intention guides our Qi inside and outside the body. For beginners, this is the most important exercise. Experienced Zhineng Qigong teachers believe that it takes 2 years to master this exercise.
